The Black Eco Chamber (BECO) is a black owned business development group comprised to provide professional services, resources, education, and access to entrepreneurs and business professionals. We are uniquely designed in the fashion of a chamber of commerce and business incubator program with an emphasis on generating economic stability in the black community. Headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, BECO is founded by Shyan Selah, spearheaded by former Washington State Representative, Jesse Johnson, and launched in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Commerce in 2022. It is produced by Brave New World Enterprises and includes a dynamic monthly workshop event series and game changing quarterly networking mixers which are held at exclusive locations and feature an array of top flight food, beverage, speakers, performers, expert panelists, and music. We are excited to work with our members, community partners, and sponsors in building and expanding this history making program.
Since its pilot season in 2022, The Black Eco Chamber has acquired over 400 members (including small business owners, heads of non-profit organizations, and community leaders).
