The BECO 2024-2025 Season is Here!
The Black Eco Chamber is proud to announce it’s joining forces once again with the Washington State Department of Commerce for the launch of its highly anticipated 2024-2025 program season, packed with a diverse lineup of events designed to empower, educate, and inspire Black entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders. From informative workshops to dynamic mixers, this season promises to offer valuable resources, meaningful connections, and opportunities for growth.
Kicking Off the Season
The new season begins on October 19, 2024, with a Workshop: Starting a Business – All the Basics at 12 pm. This event is perfect for aspiring entrepreneurs who are eager to transform their business ideas into reality. That evening, the Fall Mixer at 6 pm will bring together business owners, professionals, and community members to network and foster collaborations in a vibrant social setting.
Workshops for Success
The Black Eco Chamber continues to offer expert-led workshops that will address crucial aspects of building and growing a successful business. These include:
- Funding & Building Corporate Credit on November 16, 2024, where participants will explore strategies to secure business financing.
- Brand Building & Marketing Basics on January 11, 2024 designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners craft a strong brand identity and develop effective marketing strategies.
- SBA & The 504 Loan (Own Your Own Building) on March 15, 2025, providing insights into securing a loan to invest in commercial property.
- Crafting the Right Team – Interviewing and Hiring on April 12, 2025, which will guide attendees through the process of building a solid workforce.
- Maximizing Community Outreach on May 17, 2025, focusing on strategies to engage the community and grow a business’s reach.
Networking Mixers for Connection
The Chamber’s mixers are the perfect platform for professionals to make meaningful connections in a casual yet empowering environment. Join us for the Holiday Mixer on December 7, 2024, to celebrate the year’s achievements and look forward to the future. The Spring Mixer on April 19, 2025, and the Summer Mixer & Season Finale on June 21, 2025, will cap off the season with energetic events designed to foster business relationships and partnerships.
2025 BECO EXPO
The highlight of the season is the 2025 BECO EXPO on February 22, 2025, at 11 am. This expo is the premier event showcasing Black-owned businesses, products, and services, offering a unique platform for networking, collaboration, and celebration of Black excellence in entrepreneurship.
